Restricted ATP Institutional Authorization
Instructions
- Fill out and submit the R-ATP Application form
- Application information will be verified; the applicant must:
- have graduated from UND with one of the following majors:
- Air Traffic Management
- Aviation Management
- Aviation Studies
- Commercial Aviation
- Unmanned Aircraft Systems Operations
- Formerly Offered Majors:
- Air Traffic Control
- Airport Management
- Aviation Technology Management
- Flight Education
- have accumulated a minimum number of credit hours of authorized coursework
- 60 credit hours must have been completed to qualify for the R-ATP under 61.160(b)
- 30 credit hours must have been completed to qualify for the R-ATP under 61.160(d)
- have completed the Commercial/Instrument course at UND through the approved Part 141
curriculum
- If approved, a certificate will be issued that validates the above information; the
certificate can either be picked up at Ryan Hall 210 (main reception desk) or mailed
to the address provided in the application; please allow 2-3 weeks for processing
- You will need to include an official UND transcript with your FAA Form 8710-1 Airmen Certification Application and Verification Certificate
received through this process when taking the Airline Transport - Restricted practical
test
